前置作業：購買支援 Linux 的手寫板，網友經驗談。

1. 使用 Huion 950 已經一年九個月

之前就想買一個小一號的手寫板來嘗試。但總不到下手的臨界點

2. 2022-06 孩子在學校的電腦課有學 GIMP (自由軟體) 。想要玩我的手寫板，我說不行，這是教學用。

所以很多事情要自己處理，還好，有不少支持自由軟體的好朋友可以幫忙。

目前知道， Wacom 手寫板對 Linux 的支援度最好，就像羅技 webcam 對 Linux 最友善

同樣的工作面積，Gneius 的售價就是便宜很多，若查到支援 Linux，就可以買來玩玩

Does Huion have a Tablet Driver that will support Linux?

Huion does not offer a Linux driver directly, but there is a Linux driver available for some Huion tablets at the Huion-LinuxProject on Github. It is a collection of graphics tablet drivers for the Linux kernel, produced and maintained by the DIGImend project.

Huion Inspiroy H950P Tablet

This is another affordable option by Huion – an all-around great tablet with a comparatively large work area (8.7 x 5.4in). The pen pressure sensitivity of up to 8192 levels is on par with most higher-end graphics tablets available today. Additionally, it comes with a 233 PPS report rate and 5080 LPI resolution, offering you much better quality images.

There are ten programmable keys on the tablet, including two on the pen. Although its surface is prone to smudges but is slick and very easy to clean. The super-thin design makes it extremely portable. Like other Graphics tablets on this list, it supports the Linux distro.

All in all, Huion Inspiroy H950P is a smart option for beginners who draw on the go and don’t want to turn their pockets inside out for a graphics tablet. See below for photos unboxing and drawing a little first picture with this device.
