It was an accidentally test/trial (since November 2024), students got involved more in the class when I changed my teaching style.
“Cooking, eating, and then learning.”
After cooking and eating, students felt interested in some issues. Then I started to share some concepts and knowledge from the textbooks.
For the Spring 2025 semester, I did it for three classes, and I got positive feedbacks.
I will continue to run this model.
But, for the new semester (Fall 2025), I have a class for international students (and most are Filipinos). I plan to have a survey to know their eating patterns and dietary restrictions.
Food allergies are prevalent not just in the Philippines but worldwide, affecting individuals when they consume certain foods. Some of the most common allergenic foods include nuts, eggs, wheat, soy, milk, and seafood such as fish, shrimp, and shellfish.

在碩士某次跟老闆要經費買電泳槽,在老闆辦公室被罵出來,但實驗還是要進行,阿原就自掏腰包,跟莊榮輝老師借用蛋白質電泳槽,自行模仿相同尺寸,這樣可以買想同的電泳玻璃耗材。之後自行製作電流供應器,從 110 V 經過橋式整流器將交流電轉成直流電,再兩個大顆的電容拉平直流電壓。此外還使用拆船馬達,製作小離心機,用在微量離心管。 ]
a. 阿原需要年輕人幫忙,無故罵人,人就跑了。而且 阿原沒有給年輕人工讀費或助理費,客氣一點,才能找到年輕人幫忙。
b. 年輕人沒有執行計畫經費,或是讀碩士學位。 因此,沒有計畫進度與結案的壓力,沒有學生無法畢業的壓力。所以,沒有把這樣的壓力轉到學生身上,也是阿原不會罵年輕人的原因。反過來,如果阿原有收碩士生(目前沒有收碩士生的紀錄),學生的成果無法畢業,阿原不會痛。但阿原如果有執行計畫經費、有產學合作有預計的產出目標,此時若學生有拿錢,卻偷懶,或是沒有達到預計的進度,阿原就可能罵人、施壓。
